About ICICI Manipal Academy for Banking and Insurance:

ICICI Manipal Academy of Banking and Insurance (IMA) is a joint venture of the ICICI Bank and the renowned Manipal Group'. The Academy has been set up to train selected personnel of the ICICI Bank in order to ensure that they are 'Industry Ready at the time of their graduation. It is a multi campus institution. Initially the first campuse was established at Bangalore. Some more campuses would be added in due course of time

The Academy provides fully residential programmes to train selected Probationary Officers of the ICICI Bank. The thrust of training is to impart functional knowledge of general management and specialized knowledge of banking related subjects. Programe participants are put through a very rigorous training with emphasis on application of knowledge and overall development of personality. The training at the academy is supplemented with practical training in bank-branches.

Later, the IMA plans to conduct programmes for senior level management positions in the banking industry.
