INTRODUCTION

The Campus Component of the MBA Programme is conducted at IMA Campus located in Bangalore. The residential nature of the programme endeavours to ensure that the Programme Participants imbibe the culture of the ICICI Bank and the Manipal Group.

The duration of the Campus Component of the Programme is 1 year with classes conducted for the first nine months at IMA campus followed by internship at ICICI Bank. There are two semesters, each of 26-week duration. Each semester comprises of two modules viz. Modules I & II (Semester I) and Modules III & IV (Semester II). The Module I in the first semester is devoted to general management subjects and introduction to banking related subjects. The Module II in the first semester focuses on banking related subjects. During the Module III in the second semester, programme participants are put through training on selected specialized domains of banking assigned specifically to each participant. The Module IV in the second semester is devoted to internship to be carried out at the nominated branches of ICICI Bank.

The students are provided with an exit option after successfully completing the campus component by acquiring 70 credits out of the total 126 credits for the MBA programme. Such students are allowed to exit the MBA programme with a Post Graduate Diploma in Banking (PGDB).
